Shani Soloff

Shani is a physical therapist with over 27 years of experience in orthopedic, private practice physical therapy. She holds a BS in physical therapy from SUNY Brooklyn, an advanced master’s in orthopedic physical therapy from Touro College, a certification in manual therapy from the Institute of Physical Art, and a certification in ergonomics from the Back School of Atlanta.
Shani is the CEO and founder of Stamford Physical Therapy, a boutique manual physical therapy practice in Stamford, CT. Shani is also the CEO and founder of The Posture People, a national ergonomics consulting firm helping companies manage risk with customized ergonomic solutions to reduce employee injuries and increase employee health and productivity.
Shani serves on the steering committee for the Women Presidents’ Educational Organization of NY, where The Posture People is certified as a women’s business enterprise.
Amanda Elliott
PT, DPT
Amanda earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She has been working as a Physical Therapist for 11 years, specializing in the treatment of patients with neurological, vestibular and spine pain diagnoses. Amanda has an extensive background in teaching; guest lecturing at conferences, support groups, and educational events. She has developed and led exercise classes for the geriatric population, and understands the importance of preventative care for a healthy lifestyle.
In her spare time, Amanda enjoys spending time with her husband and 2 young daughters, exploring the outdoors, cuddling up for movie nights, and baking.
Sarah Weingarten
PT, DPT
Sarah earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from Wesleyan University and her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from New York Medical College.Sarah is passionate about hands on treatment and returning people to pain free function. She loves problem solving with patients to determine what is causing symptoms, and working together with patients to treat those symptoms.
Sarah has taken extensive continuing education courses focusing on manual therapy techniques. Sarah treats each individual using a combination of manual therapy, personalized exercise programs, and patient education. She believes that taking a hands-on approach enables her to get to the root cause of each patient’s symptoms, and allows her to help her patients achieve their personal goals.
Jonathan Joyce
PT, DPT
Jonathan earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from MGH Institute of Health Professions. Jon has experience working in injury prevention and is passionate about the importance of posture and body mechanics in the prevention and treatment of injuries. Jon utilizes education and hands on training to both restore function and prevent future injury. He enjoys teaching body awareness and injury prevention, especially when seeing the positive results. In his spare time, Jon is a competitive distance runner and races in distances from one mile to the marathon.

Michelle Liu
PT, DPT
Michelle earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Mount St. Mary’s University in Los Angles. Michelle has experience working in orthopedic physical therapy, and is passionate about reducing discomfort and treating injuries. Michelle enjoys teaching and believes education is a powerful tool. That is the reason why she chooses to become a physical therapist: not only help people alleviate pain, but to educate people in how to prevent pain and injuries.
In her spare time, Michelle likes baking, cooking, hiking, reading, swimming and traveling. She loves animal and have two furry friends named Cloudee and Pepper.
Tammy Loh
MPT
Tammy earned her Master of Physical Therapy degree from Hunter College of the City University of New York, and is certified in Functional Capacity Evaluation by Workwell Systems, and Office Ergonomics Evaluation by Humanscale. She has over a decade of experience in the field of injury management and prevention, performing functional capacity evaluations, office ergonomics evaluations, and pre-work physical screening for corporate clients and governmental agencies.
Tammy is passionate about helping people through raising awareness and education. She helps clients identify and reduce workplace risk factors, and achieve an optimal fit of the task to the worker. In her spare time, she enjoys music, travel and photography.
Louis Friedman
PT, OCS, CLT-LANA
Lou is a Physical Therapist with over 30 years of clinical experience, and has experience in workplace assessment and education. He is certified in Orthopedic Physical Therapy by the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialists. He is also a Certified Lymphedema Therapist, with experience in the treatment of patients with Oncology related dysfunction. He graduated from a joint program in Physical Therapy from Kean University/ University of Medicine and Dentistry in New Jersey. Lou has taken extensive continuing education in Orthopedic and Manual Physical Therapy and has also lectured locally, in the area of Oncology Rehabilitation and locally and nationally in the area of Cervical Spine Rehabilitation.
He feels the key to solving problems in any setting begins with listening, and his teaching style focuses on making sure the learner understands the message. When not at work he enjoys walking with his wife and 2 dogs, kayaking and the martial arts.
