Why Businesses Love Us

The Posture People present an innovative program that focuses on reduction of workplace injuries. Similar programs I have used in the past have focused on clinical type care. Although still beneficial, those programs concentrate their efforts on the reactive side, working with employees once they start to feel discomfort. The Posture People spend most of their time on the production floor observing how employees interact with their job/equipment. They take a truly proactive approach to identifying at-risk postures and situations that could lead to discomfort. The staff works with employees to improve body mechanics and when necessary, they present suggestions on engineering solutions.

If you supplement your office hours with a home office I would highly recommend reaching out to the Posture People. They use a unique process to assess the individual’s environment, furniture, patterns and lifestyles. I would have never fingered my chair as the culprit for headaches! But the team were able to identify what needed adjustment to bring me optimum ease and efficiency the very next day. The folks at Posture People are not only experts in ergonomic solutions, they actually care. They leveraged their considerable network to help me find the best solution, which, turned out was using my own furniture! This is not a revenue-focused team. They are passionate about helping people find the easiest, most cost effective path to a pain-free work situation.

I would highly recommend the Posture People – whether you need to optimize your home office or part of a large organization that reduces work related injuries.

- Rekha Gibbons, COO, Raare Solutions

The Posture People delivered several workshops at my place of business in response to associates’ need for assistance with posture, carpal tunnel, and other repetitive stress related conditions…personable, professional, and incredibly knowledgeable about all areas of ergonomics and physical therapy. Their workshops were interactive and physical and provided great take-aways… scheduled in a progressive manner so that attendees could build upon skills learned in earlier sessions. Each session began with a review, as well as sharing how former attendees had adjusted their behaviors based on information learned in earlier workshops.

The Posture People’s workshops are inspiring and motivating… techniques and hand-outs are easy to understand and beneficial. I know that I have changed my work habits as a result of taking the series on posture and ergonomics and happily recommend them to anyone looking for help in this area.

- Jean Hurley

I met with The Posture People to discuss strategies for setting up a comfortable office environment. I consistently use the tips and tricks she showed me, and find myself in much better shape at the end of a long workday than I had previously. I would wholehearted recommend to anyone spending considerable time behind a desk either attending one of The Posture People’s courses or meeting individually.

- Doni Perl, Principal at Charter Oak Equity

After participating in some of the sessions offered at my company, I was able to use the knowledge that TPP provided to change my workspace and the way I worked in a decidedly positive manner. I am more conscious of the strains my body endures during the work day and am able to use the information she provided to lessen the detrimental effects. My need to visit the chiropractor for adjustments has been lessened and I feel more comfortable at work as a direct result of what I have learned.

- Michael Chetta - Starwood

“The Posture People  have worked with the associates on our teams and provide excellent guidance with regards to their work stations…provided classes that have received amazing feedback. Our associates really like their style and feel that the service provided is of great value.”

- Robyn Alper, MS, SHRM-SCP

“The Posture People facilitated three ergonomic sessions for our company, which was part of a pilot program to help reduce work related injuries. Two of the sessions were for front line employees and the third was for the front line leaders….TPP were awesome! The training they provided was not generic, in fact it was strategically designed for the “real world” work our employees see day in-day out. I was able to see positive results the very next day with the employees that participated in the training. Their knowledge in ergonomics and experience as a physical therapist made the training both personable and professional, and had our employees engaged throughout each session.”

- Michael Higa, Safety Advisor

“The Posture People  led a seminar for our company on the right way to sit so you wouldn’t hurt your back or cause other injury or discomfort. It was very informative, interactive, and extremely helpful and insightful. She clearly explained her suggestions, and walked the room to correct each participant individually. We haven’t sat the same since! In fact, I truly do think of them every time I sit down at my desk, and especially when I sit in our conference room, which has chairs that are too big for my short legs. I can now sit comfortably through meetings without constantly changing positions. Life-changing!”
